Restoration

There are two types of Restoration:

• conservative
• of Recovery

The restoration is an activity linked to the maintenance, recovery, restoration and conservation of works of art, cultural heritage, monuments and in general of historical artifacts, such as an architecture, a manuscript, a painting, an object, whatever it is, to which a particular value is recognized.

Restoration is "the methodological moment of the recognition of the work of art, in its physical consistency and in its dual aesthetic and historical polarity, in view of the transmission to the future"

Not all cultures followed the same criteria in preserving the testimonies of their past. The relationship with religion and, therefore, with the concept of time is very strong.

SIAS operates according to the historicity, the conditions and the value of the object to be restored in communion with the wishes and needs of the customers.
